F1 and Zuma and a Rotting country

Oh what a great day for headlines. No one appears able to agree on what's killer news from the weekend. Even the local rag the Mercury runs through three roadside posters and then has a picture of a real babe on the cover and the comment that Sharapova's gonna dazzle her opponents.

F1 farce - US Grand Prix

Enough said about this, I'm sure. Guess what guys? The yanks love Nascar and will now just snub the F1 races. Who needs a bunch of wallies who make rules which do nothing to enhance the sport and spectator involvement... Nuff said!

Zuma to be peacemaker

The headline reads that Zuma may be called as a peacemaker to try and stem the tide of raucous protest over his axing as deputy president! Hmmm... I wonder who has the most to gain through this discord?

The country rotting from the inside

Now that was the leader.
The paper's article heads up as "Fears over new SA nationalism" and goes on to quote Loren Landau on a hatred of immigrants rotting SA from within, undermining its hard earned democracy. The article is particularly aimed at the poorer immigrants and reveals that corrupt officialdom and criminals too are using these asylum seekers as "mobile ATM's" to line their own coffers.

A better headline would have been 'New SA withdrawal syndrome - Mobile ATM's'.
